Metisse are taking the
world by storm following the enormous success of
their debut single, Sousoundé. Their soon to be
second single, Boom Boom Ba, features in the new
hit movie, The Next Best Thing starring Madonna.
"I just know their Irish. I know what they
look like. I know what they sound like. I don't
know that much about them, But I love their
music", reveals Madonna in a recent
interview with Dave Fanning.
From their studio in East Cork Métisse have
everyone talking, owing to the sheer unique
nature of their music. The debut album produced
by themselves and Magnus Fiennes (Pulp/All
Saints) is something which stands out from the
present agglomeration of commercial tunes, it is
extremely original, very easy to listen to and is
making a huge impact on the dance scene.
